Globulart Diseño and Global Orgasm

Global Orgasm is a worldwide initiative with the intention of taking advantage of the biological fact of the human orgasm, using it as a positive force for peace. To elaborate, the intention is that the highest possible number of people throughout the planet experience a simultaneous orgasm in sync with the precise moment of the Winter Solstice (Summer Solstice in the southern hemisphere), which will take place the 22nd of December at 06:08 Universal Coordinated Time (GMT), 07:08 in the spanish Peninsula. The key is to focus one’s thoughts in sending positive emotions of peace and partnership to the whole planet during and after orgasm, thus having millions of people input their own personal energy, and perhaps getting it to have a positive influence on the collective human consciousness. The idea is based on the Global Consciousness Project of the Princeton University; a network of random event generators distrubuted throughout the world has proven that, during world events (the attack on the World Trade Center, natural disasters, demonstrations against the war, mass meditations), there is a shift of the random tendency registered by those generators, which suggests that the collective human mind can really alter reality and matter.

Globulart Diseño collaborated in the first Global Orgasm initiative back in 2006, and we have partnered again with Global Orgasm for the second iteration of the event now in 2007. This time we’re providing translation services, so we’re responsible for the spanish version of the contents of the Global Orgasm website, www.globalorgasm.org, as well as press releases for the spanish media; likewise, we are the official Global Orgasm media representatives for spanish-speaking news media. As a company with a global consciousness specialized in design and creativity, we appreciate in a special way every creative activism like the one started by Global Orgasm, and generally speking, any initiative that pretends to enhance life on our planet and, for that matter, “save the world”, while stimulating for the imagination.
